Data Deletion Instructions

1. Automatic Deletion
When you uninstall CODShield from your Shopify store, all your data is automatically deleted from our servers.
Deletion timeframe: Maximum 30 days after uninstallation
2. Deleted Data
Deletion includes:
- All order information (number, amount, status)
- All customer information (name, phone, email, address)
- All application settings and preferences
- All statistics and history
- All risk scoring data
3. Retained Data
Only the following data is retained for legal and accounting purposes:
- Subscription invoices (legal obligation)
- Anonymized security logs (fraud prevention)
This data contains no customer information and is deleted after 3 years.
4. Manual Deletion Request
If you wish to delete your data without uninstalling the application, or if you wish to confirm the deletion of your data:
Contact us at: support@codshield.app
Include in your request:
- Your Shopify store name
- Email associated with your store
- Subject: "Data Deletion Request"
5. Processing Time
Manual deletion requests are processed within 7 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
6. WhatsApp Data
Messages sent via WhatsApp are processed by Meta (WhatsApp Cloud API).
To delete WhatsApp conversations on the customer side, your customers must delete the conversation from their WhatsApp application.
Note: CODShield does not store WhatsApp message content.
7. Irreversibility
⚠️ Warning
Data deletion is final and irreversible. After deletion, it will be impossible to recover your order data, statistics, or settings.
